Why Choose a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)?

BCACC
To hold the designation of Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors requires counsellors to have, at a minimum, a master’s degree in various fields of study: psychology, clinical counselling, education and social work. In addition, RCCs must meet or exceed clinical supervision requirements and voluntarily commit to practice according to an ethical code of conduct and standards of practice.

Fees
We follow the BCACC’s recommended fee scale:
50-Minute Sessions:
Individuals: $150.00
Parent/Caregiver Support Sessions: $160.00
Sibling + Family Sessions: $195.0080-Minute Initial Consultations: $225.00
80-Minute EMDR Sessions: $225.00GST is required on services provided by RCCs.
A credit card fee is applied to all credit card transactions.

Coverage + Extended Health Benefits
Most Extended Benefits programs cover the cost of RCCs and RSW. Please check with your plan provider for details of the accepted services.
Revenue Canada deems counselling a claimable medical expense.
